iVideoPic Social is almost here! You can still be a BETA tester though if you click on the iVideoPic Social BETA page and download it, as long as you fill out the form after using it a little. Don't forget to also try out iVideoWeb BETA and fill out the form for that.

Well it's official; after months of anticipation, the iPad 2 was announced today at 1:00 EST. It is 33.33% lighter, it features two cameras, has photo booth, and will come in white as well as black. There are more features, but we haven't watched the actual keynote yet since it isn't out to the public. iOS 4.3 was also announced today and its main feature is for iPhone users: it allows the iPhone to become a mobile WiFi hotspot.
The iPad 2 will be available on March 11th for the same price that the current iPad is being sold at.
Another good thing happened at the Keynote today, Steve Jobs was there! Some people say that he looked frail though. We hope he makes a good recovery soon, but it is a good sign that he was there.
Well that's all the Apple news for now. We'll be back with more updates after the keynote is released to the public.

Today at one o'clock the iPad 2 will probably be released. We'll put up another blog post today telling everyone what the actual product is. For now we can just wait in anticipation. All we know for sure is that the Apple Store is down on the website.

During the weekend Apple released a minor update to their touch screen iPod Nano's operating system. It is version 1.1 and it included the ability to turn the iPod off by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button. It also allowed podcasts to play one after another instead of having to choose a new podcast after the one you had just been listening to was over. The final update allows you to skip to the next song or pause/play the song you are listening to just by double clicking the sleep/wake button.
